11th November - Kat Lendacka - Lino Print
Try something new, make something lovely
Kat will introduce the art of printing by showing us some of her Prints and the actual cut out blocks, then talk about the process etc...
She will demonstration how 'to go about it' from the initial sketching, how to transfer the image and then the cutting....
Most of the morning will be taken up with the laying out and cutting and after lunch we would start with printing.
Kat will be on hand to help with questions and the process, so even 'Print Novices' needn't worry.
All students will be provided with a short summary and links to where to purchase materials... and some reference books.
The plan for the day is not set in stone though, we work at our own pace but hopefully we can take home an image....
Perhaps our 2017 Christmas card!!
